Waterholes Slot Canyon
Elopement and Wedding Packages
Waterholes Canyon is located in Antelope Canyon Wash but much less visited. This canyon requires a short downhill and uphill back 1.4 mile hike to reach the heart of the canyon. Interesting rock formations and stunning colors make this an ideal wedding location for couples who want to get away from the crowds on their special day.
As of May 1st, 2018 waterholes hiking will require hiring a professional Navajo Nation authorized guide company.
Other fantastic geological formations near Waterholes Canyon that would make stunning wedding photographs are ‘The Great Wall’, sculptured fins and contours similar to the ‘Wave’ and ‘Horseshoe Bend’, a location over looking a vast bend in the Colorado River some 1,100ft below.
